Helping DF - would this work?

Hi, my DF is in the at risk category due to recovery from cancer. He is saying he is already lonely and sad (usually has a very busy social life) He has asked if can come and live with us... I'm wondering if we self isolated as a family (2 adults 3year old one year old) for 2 weeks first so we could get anything out of our system would this then be possible?

I'm so worried about him catching it from us but I'm also so worried about his happiness and mental health. I just want him with us.

Possibly but unless you continued to self isolate then it probably wouldn't. I know this seems extreme but I saw a photo online of a man visiting his grandad. He'd sit outside his room and they'd both use their mobile phones to talk through the window. Is there anything like that you could do ? Or set up Skype/video calling I really feel for you and wish I had something better to suggest x

Thankyou... yes we could continue to self isolate for a while, until food ran out I suppose and someone had to go shopping. DH is working from home and I've had to take leave from my work. I saw that picture too... we could do that I suppose although probably not everyday because of distance. My heart is just breaking for him. He says he wants to be around the Hubble and bubble of the kids.
