Australia bans all foreign arrivals...from tomorrow, nobody will be able to enter Australia unless they're residents.

"So, the overwhelming proportion of [coronavirus] cases in Australia have been imported.

Viva It ought to! I feel so worried for those who are in poor health already.

But of course the cases stem from people who were abroad..that's the same everywhere, other than China!

The EU is (has?!) closed its borders, plus some countries within, including Norway which is a bit more isolated, but also France, and the US has too. Egypt has even actually closed all airports (so Egyptians abroad are stuck!).

Australian citizens are allowed to enter as well, not just residents.

Germany has arranged charter flights to get their stranded citizens home...
