No border entry for non citizens and permanent residents

Thank goodness - we haven't the infrastructure to cope with moron tourists who refuse to self isolate

We're in NZ but family all in Aus (parents, siblings, nephews, nieces). Wouldn't normally see them until Xmas time, but knowing that we can't go for any reason is kind of hitting home at the moment! Or if things will be even semi-normal to be able to visit at Xmas time . Single parent - not sure what happens if things go to custard!

On a brighter note, I heard of a campervan of the moron tourists mentioned above being busted by the locals yesterday when they were buying up 1/2 a very small supermarket - campervan rental dates checked and the police turned up to take them away 👍
