Will I be tested

Been isolating since last week with a cough, then sore throat now I'm wheezy. Will phone GP tomorrow as advised by 111 website.
My DH is in the vulnerable category, will we be tested or only if one of us was admitted to hospital?

Only of you are admitted to hospital. I was referred to 111 on saturday by a GP (cough, breathlessness for 2 weeks had appointment to try to get a preventer inhaler as I'm.asthmativ but only had ventolin), 111 referred me to the hospital, I was turned away as I was told to just self isolate and that they weren't testing anyone. Felt like I was wasting their time (only following 111s instructions but still). Breath still catching now but finally got a preventer (using my reliever like it's going out of fashion at the minute). So no you wont get tested.

Impossible to get tested in Wales. Just came off phone to 111 and only testing admissions to ICU or flu related admissions
