Anyone Had A Text Asking Them To Cancel Appointments At GP Surgery?

I received the text in the photo, but I haven’t seen anything about a message from the Prime Minister about appointments. Embargoed and released too early? 🤔

I had a text from my GP surgery last week cancelling all appointments, totally closing the surgery to the public and changing to on-the-day telephone consultations.

I have a hospital out-patient appointment that I've been told to attend this week (I phoned to ask), but only if I have no symptoms of CV.

My baby has had her vaccinations cancelled. I tired to rearrange but they got cancelled again ☹️

I'm a practice nurse. We have cancelled loads of things but absolutely not child vaccinations. I did a full baby clinic on Tuesday. It may be that the nurse was off sick hello
The last thing society needs is children with measles and meningitis etc needing hospital admission during a pandemic.
