My DN is coming home early from a travelling around Australia holiday. She's flying from Brisbane via Singapore to LHR.

She wants to follow the right advice, does she need to self isolate?

Following with interest as DS is in the same position ( except he’s flying Brisbane to Dubai to LHR). He is expecting to self isolate and has already informed me of the snacks he’d like!

It's crazy how hard it is to find this information

I would say as they are travelling through three high traffic airports they should self isolate as a precaution.

That's what she's thinking, but what about people in her household? Do they do they same do you think? Her dad is picking her up from the airport.

Is everyone coming home? My DN only went out 12 days ago - should she come home - she is in Vietnam - can’t go to anymore countries but was thinking to stay there for a month or so?

She's only been there a few weeks and planned to stay much longer but there's talk of them closing their borders etc, and she needs to be back in June.

She really really didn't want to come home but it's such uncertain times it's for the best I think.

Freeda DS is exactly the same. And we have the same question about family self isolation, as DH is picking him and his two friends up - so potentially triple the infection risk!

So it seems like it's up to her? She is a very sensible girl and will self isolate but I can see why there's so much confusion.

I’m now worried about the rumours that London is going into lockdown at the weekend. Will DH be allowed to pick up from Heathrow if this is the case?

Just heard on BBC that the “lockdown” is likely to be closure of the Tube.
