I'm sure many people are in the same situation but I'm just feeling so anxious.
My dad is schizophrenic and doesnt leave his flat. Hasn't for over 2 years. So in a way social isolation wont be much different for him!
He also has asthma and COPD so is in the at risk category. I can't self isolate indefinately as I work in a residential unit for disabled children, they still need to be looked after. So I'm worried about visiting him and passing on the virus. But he only has me and his friend who cleans for him (who might want to self isolate). He doesnt like talking on the phone etc due to his mental health.
Also, there are no shopping delivery slots for 3 weeks and he only eats certain things and hardly anything long life.
I've been self isolating and planning to visit on friday when isolation period is up, and take him shopping but I dont even know if there will be any food in the shops.
I dont know what will happen if he decides to totally self isolate. And what about all the other at risk people for that matter. Must be so many people just lost and stressed and broke right now. :( :(:(
