Posting on behalf of DSis but I’m curious to.
Dniece studies in central London, her university has closed but work remains open. Lots of colleagues have gone off sick so Dniece wants to stay work as many hours as possible until the government shuts them down (non food retail).
DSis is very worried to the point of calling me daily that by the time Dniece decided to leave London (next weekend at the earliest apparently) it will be to late, trains etc will have stopped running. DBIL could potentially go by car to collect but it’s 5+ hours each way.
If a lockdown does happen will there be enough time for Dniece to get home or will she be stuck in London? How much warning are we likely to get?
She’s has plenty off food and can self isolate in either house but obviously DSis would rather she was at home rather than stuck alone in her flat in London for weeks on end.
