Intelligent very dim people?

Are people really this dim?

Fb full of parents saying both working from home and caring for children is difficult?

Wtf are they doing, childcare workers and teachers aren't running another job as well as being in charge of the kids.
People think they can both work and the kids take care of themselves.
Obviously older ones can be left to get on with it for a while, but seriously these were tots they were talking about.

Your post doesn't make sense.

Exceptional times call for exceptional solutions.

Not sure what your point is. If people have jobs where they can work from home then they have to do that, and have to manage somehow with the childcare. They can’t just not do their job because they also have to look after children. Of course it’s not really possible to do both properly but people have to muddle through as best they can, and if they moan about it on Facebook that doesn’t seem unreasonable. It’s hard!

Just about everyone in my company is wfh now - but the company says we need to put the well-being of family first and accept that those with kids will have their work impacted. They've suggested some strategies to cope better, for some they'll essentially work less hours as will their partner so that they can take turns looking after their kids.

I'm lucky... I work in a company which values its staff. But I'd take a bet this understanding approach will work better over the coming months than companies which don't make realistic allowances.

Literally No idea from your post what you are trying to say. Perhaps intelligent people are acknowledging it's hard to work from home and also look after children (of any age). They don't have a choice. They don't sound "dim" to me.
