Help for renters?

My rent is due tomorrow but it will take every last penny of my overdraft, leaving me with nothing and more charges until next Tuesday. Would I be unreasonable to ask my landlord if I could transfer it on Tuesday when I get paid under the circumstances and do I run the risk of being kicked out?

Very reasonable. I think little thought has been given to the 70% who rent and who are likely to be lower income at risk of job losses.
Hopefully kind landlords will be generous and flexible.
