UK holiday let problems.

We have a UK holiday let with upcoming bookings.

Just tried to cancel them as we are isolating at home with symptoms, hopefully nothing but who knows.

Should we be symptom free we would be looking to isolate anyway as high risk.

Terms and conditions state guests can cancel with no penalties but we will be charged for each cancellation Confused between £200-£400.

Just seems so unfair.

You have to email and ask them I have refunded every booking that I have been asked to ( different busoness but same kind of thing). Its not anyones fault. I kept £10 for bank charges that will be taken off if they book in teh future. A few bookings I have moved free of charge to later dates....

Who’s fining you, the intermediary letting company? Why do you need to cancel due to isolation, do you part manage/clean it?
Or is it air bnb making life difficult?
