Just checking other people's understanding as I can't see anything covering this.

If someone attends a workplace then subsequently goes home due to feeling unwell with CV type symptoms - are there any restrictions placed on other workers in the company if there is no diagnosis?

DS just informed me that there are 3 people off from his work now, not in the same room as he is but he has face to face conversation with one yesterday.

I've told him he needs to stay in his bedroom at home and am being careful to disinfect where he has used bathroom etc

Does that seem reasonable? I can't see any official advice about this. The workers concerned are now isolating at home.

DS already has a cold by the way, and his symptoms are definitely a cold, sneezy, no fever etc
