A lot of people (not all) but a lot are really selfish and inconsiderate. From stock piling to barging past people in the supermarket, moaning about the staff not filling the shelves quick enough in front of the staff (it's not their fault the supermarkets are waiting on deliveries and the shelves are bing emptied immediately!
It's no wonder we have an obesity problem in the UK if people are shopping for 14 days and that's how much food they get through!
We now live in a society so lost in consumerism we have a really warped idea about what we 'need' and what items are 'essential'.
Most people would not survive rationing if there was a war! They wouldn't have a clue how to make meals from a small amount of food.
If you're helping an elderly neighbour you don't need to tell everyone on social media! If you post on SM then you want to be praised for it so really it's a selfish act committed in the hope people will tell you how wonderful you are for doing it.
It's very noticeable people have stopped slagging off the NHS and Doctors and now regard them as amazing individuals. Now the NHS is so needed and doctors and nurses are remaining committed and front line in helping people we suddenly realise how much we need them and the personal sacrifices they make.
