Improve yourself while self isolating?

I don't know if anyone else would be interested. I am now in for 12 weeks due to being high risk. I am going to try and use a little bit of time each day to improve myself in some way and try to find something positive in this.

Today I have done 30 minutes of beginner pilates after finding a routine on YouTube. I am now lying on the floor regretting everything! I also have an oil painting kit I will try. Also will try to grow my own fruit and veg and maybe learn a new skill. I have also started meditation to help with my anxiety.

Anyone else trying to do something similar? Just to add I know some people will have children or other things which mean they won't have any time at all. Or someone may be unwell in their house etc. Or just feel so worried and sad at the moment that they can't manage.

I just feel I need something to try and keep myself sane and wondered if anyone wanted somewhere to check in each day.

I like this idea!

Yoga with Adriene is really good and free online.

I’m going to try and read some of the books I’ve got waiting on the shelves and finish off some craft.

I am using Blogilates on YouTube for anyone interested. The first workout had me lying face down on the floor after but it is a start.

@PurpleDaisies Which book are you going to start with? Which crafts do you do?

@chicken2015 I totally get that. When my nephews are here it is a struggle to even get a drink. Maybe it could be doing something new with them instead if you could find something age appropriate.
