To think it’s wrong for people to post things such as this

I’ve just seen a meme type thing anonymously saying. The uk will go into lockdown from Thursday till the 5th April.claiming to have a source from the government which I believe is extremely unlikely. Is it wrong to think this is just scaring people. While lockdown may happen we don’t know when and the government likely don’t know how long for either.

So reposting that is helpful in what way?

I saw something like that. It was a Snapchat screen shot posted to Facebook. It was so clearly fake, but people in the comments believed it.

The way people are behaving, I'm starting to think the military might get involved in helping the police as support, resulting in a lock down, to contain this.

France is setting the example really it's only a matter of time.

It's ridiculous, I have a friend who suffers from ME and all she does is sit on the internet reading nonsense like that. She's making herself physically sick with worry.

People are talking about the lockdown anywhere. I assume it’s just a matter of when now.
