Stupid but how do you clean a digital thermometer?

just that! How do you clean it ready for the next person.

Posting here for traffic but in fairness CV is why we're using it.

Ours has plastic covers that you switch out between each person.

You’re not supposed to put the thermometer in anyone’s ear without a cover.

Surgical spirit? Or just soapy water and a cloth? Dry with a paper towel

According to the instructions for mine. Use an ear bud and alcohol. Then gently wipe.

I’ve just given ours a damp wipe. I think we’ve already passed it around if we have it.

Also interested in the answer to this as only thermometer we have was used for vaginal temping for TTC
