It's all I can think about! What is going to happen to those people whose companies just decide to cease trading because they can't afford to take on these government loans? They won't qualify for the £94 sick pay - they're essentially just being made redundant! And redundancy pay will be non existent for most, especially those who haven't been in service long. It's hideous and so worrying 😭

Yep husband on 4 weeks unpaid leave as of the end of the month. Don’t know how we will pay rent.

I lost my job yesterday.

I work in a large hotel and we've been losing business for 2 weeks now - across the group of 7 hotels they've had to shut 2.

They are letting 20 staff go.

Our boss has reassured us that the business will not go under, but there is the possibility of us being laid off temporarily if no orders are coming in and they have to close the factory until this is over.

I'm concerned.

We need universal basic income. All the money that’s promised will all go back into the rich peoples hands. Richard Branson will get to buy another island.
