Ooh joy! I cannot wait to spend Mother's Day or Easter with several of those Sad

My son was vomiting and has a temperature of 39 degrees.
He is rarely ill. I believe vomiting can happen with CV, but rarer.

So basically, the only way to know with certainty is if you get tested.

I think it is important that this is here. The NHS advice is out of kilter with the WHO research findings. As you can see around a third of people diagnosed with this do not have a cough.

There are an array of symptoms- including for a third of people coughing up phlegm and a sore throat is common too.

Because we are not being offered tests and the narrow diagnostic criteria - it is probable that many more people have this than realise and they have not self-isolated following the published advice.

I for one am quite concerned re the implications for our most vulnerable.

So many symptoms of normal bugs.

I am self isolating for 12 weeks.
I'm on day 4 :(
I'm at high risk due to kidney failure.

These are all the symptoms for viral pneumonia and flu too. I had all of them over the past 2-3 weeks but don’t qualify for testing as Covid-19 is only being tested at A&E where I live so you need to be really struggling to breathe.

It is no surprise that there has been a government switch in tactics in how to manage this.
