Over 70’s out and about

I thought it was clear that over 70’s should take the greatest care over the coming months. I was in a town M and S Cafe and I was the youngest there. Couples looking like nothing has changed. Two ladies comparing joggers and wondering which pair to buy.

This was after I overheard an elderly women in Waitrose saying that young people should stay at home to stop them spreading the disease.

I have a horrible feeling they aren’t taking advice seriously. My DM is going out once a week and only to get some food. Shop is at the end of the road, no clubs, coffee with friends, keep fit etc.

It’s guidance. People are still free to make their own informed decisions.

They may find themselves on the wrong side. But, knowing they are at the back of the queue for care, they may choose to be cautious.
