Hello,

I’m starting this thread as a place for people to congregate, chat, share their moments of happiness to focus on the positive of lockdown.

DC(2) and I are isolating due to chicken pox (we’re only two days in), rather than CV-19 as yet, but I thought there are probably others out there that would like a place to share the good, and not so good, of your own four walls.

DH is an essential worker, so not with us. But that’s probably good, because he would have eaten all the crisps already. 😂

We've been out in the garden and I'm so thankful for the sun. Had a cry this morning at not seeing my mom for Mother's Day but we FaceTimed. Felt better as soon as I went out and trying to keep a smile on my face for my little boy.

We had a lovely time and now he's upstairs in his room giggling at YouTube. Best sound on the world!

We've been self isolating since last Monday as I had a cough and a sore throat, and a bad chest. Done LOADS of cleaning and washing! Had a move round!

My little boy has thankfully been occupied and distracted from the strangeness with his latest invention, in the hols he'd made a website The Random Idea Generator. It's suddenly become incredibly useful! It give you a random activity idea and people are sending him their suggestions to add which he is loving!

It's www.whatshallwedo.co.uk and it's helping me keep sane as I don't have to think of things to do now we just use that!

He's loving seeing people from lots of different countries use it so it's educational for us too!

Drove to a garden behind locked gates so we could spend alone time. Exercise bike is in pieces. Tomorrow is the day we put it together.
