So DPand I have been together 10 years. We don't live together.
He's just been away for 4 days, visiting family and went to a big birthday gathering.
Expecting to come to mine tonight for the next 3 nights.
Took it completely personally when I said I didn't think it was a good idea, after the new advice yesterday. Can't say I'm surprised with how he reacted. It's standard.
Anyone else having this? I'm just trying to keep everyone safe.

Where's he been? Are you particularly vulnerable?

Quartz2208 · 17/03/2020 19:24

I think the fact that you still dont live together and have him down having a standard response says it all

CappyCapCap · 17/03/2020 19:24

Where has he been?

Were people ill? Or have been since?

Is someone in your home vulnerable?

MT2017 · 17/03/2020 19:34

I don't think he's the over sensitive one Confused

Did you not discuss it before he went?

NotStayingIn · 17/03/2020 19:42

Who are you trying to keep safe?

Dishwashersaurous · 17/03/2020 19:47

Where’s he been? Do you have health condition?

Lynda07 · 17/03/2020 20:44

He is ridiculous to even think he should come to yours.

He is ridiculous to even think he should come to yours

Why?
My oh goes to work on a train everyday and comes home to me every evening...what's the difference between that and the ops partner, unless he's been exposed to covid 19? But the op hasn't been back to explain further...

Readyme · 17/03/2020 21:11

It depends on of you have been self isolating whilst he's been away. If you haven't then it seems like you.are the one being over sensitive.

I'm a front line NHS worker. My daughter has asthma, catches colds at the drop of a hat and I'm in contact with vulnerable patients every day.
