Just wondering if anyone is keeping any plans at the moment? I am potentially in an at risk group, but the advice to self isolate doesn't kick in until after the weekend (they keep saying within days) but not yet.

So I have my SIL tomorrow for dinner, plans on Friday evening at a friends house and then will visit some family on saturday.

After that I will self isolate as much as I can bar getting some food and a bit of exercise.

What are everyone elses plans that they are not cancelling?

The self isolating hasnt kicked in yet, but limiting social contact has. I would have cancelled all of those engagements tbh.

@RhymingRabbit3 I can see you point but this will be my last contact for months so I'd like to see people.

I have an outpatient appointment in hospital on Thursday, I phoned to postpone but was told to come in as usual.

There are a few books I have that are due back at the library, I phoned to ask what to do (can't renew them) and they advised they're open and to come in as usual to drop them off.

My husband had booked an afternoon tea for today, I phoned this morning to cancel/postpone but they pleaded for us to still come in - they reassured us they had halved the tables to ensure distance between customers and were taking every precaution possible - so we went.

It's confusing, I was prepared to cancel plans but being assured not to, it's difficult.

What does 'potentially in an at risk group' mean? How many friends on Friday? The lower the numbers the better obviously....

Everything in my social life has been cancelled but my kids are still going to school and DH still going to work, so we are not exactly isolated.
