First trimester coronavirus drama

Hi all,
I'm only 4-5 weeks along but have had to tell my employer I'm pregnant as I'm now classed as 'at risk' and have been told to wfh for the foreseeable.
Is anyone else completely terrified by this all?
I haven't even told my family yet, but am being forced to tell my boss and now feeling more and more pressure to tell family sooner rather than later as they will no doubt wonder why I am distancing.
Also both of my parents have health conditions, I haven't seen them in over a month already and since then have got engaged and found out I'm pregnant. They are over the moon about the engagement but it's bittersweet as we likely won't see each other for months. I think the news of my pregnancy will shatter their hearts as they can't see me.
I can't believe I might be 4+ months pregnant before I next see my loved ones..

Looking for support & advice x

Ack op congratulations Flowers I promise it won't 'shatter their hearts', if anything it will give them something to look forward to, a ray of light.

I agree, I think it will give them something to look forward to. Congratulations Flowers

Think of it this way, by the time you're showing and heading for mat leave, most of this will have blown over. Better that way than to have the end of your pregnancy like this, I think? Smile
