AIBU to be pissed off at the selfishness of some people?

I probably need to calm down first.... but I’m angry that people can be so careless and selfish and that is why the Coronavirus will spread so far.

I’m not with DDs father but he sees her regularly and on Sunday he came over to see her and we took her to his mums. When we got there his uncle and uncles DW were sitting on the sofa with my ex MIL.

Ex says “you two look tanned!” Straight away I start thinking “shit....they’ve not been on holiday have they?” They then go on to say how they just got back from Spain last night and one of the last flights too!

I’ve been more worried than most as I have an autoimmune condition (which all of ex’s Family know about) and am therefore higher risk, also Ex MIL has an autoimmune condition too and is over 60 so she is higher risk.

I took ex aside and said I wasn’t comfortable sitting in the room with them and they should self isolating having come back from Spain yesterday!

DD started to get ratty at this point so we had a good excuse to leave and that was that.

Ex has messaged me this morning saying his Uncle and auntie are self isolating. I ask why and he said two of the people they met on holiday and hand drinks with etc now have Coronavirus and needed to let them know. Now ex’s uncle has a persistent dry cough so has decided to self isolate.

We weren’t there long but there’s every chance me and DD could have caught it on Sunday when we were there.

I’m pissed off at how careless people can be and I’m now terrified I have it. I’ll have to self isolate which means i can’t work (cleaner) and left my parents etc know if they come over that I could have it.

I don’t really know what the point of writing this was but I’m angry and needed to vent, also AIBU to be pissed off?

I’ve calmed down now I’ve written it all down Grin
Anyone else have CF stories that are COVID 19 related?

Not CF as my childcarer has had all his main work cancelled so is desperate but he came to look after my son after school yesterday looking like death and today has said he has a fever. We have a DC in the ultra high risk group too 😡
