I know no one will know the answer but

How long to self isolate? Life to stop? How 18 months until vaccine developed?

I’ve been reading some interesting material on potential treatments, not cures, but drugs that make a difference — the key one being chloroquine, used extensively in South Korea. It shortens the duration of the illness and reduces its severity.

I think we’re not far away from having a treatment protocol that reduces the burden on our healthcare systems. People will still get sick and some will still die, but the reduction will be enough for things to get back to some sort of normal within the next few months. In 18 months or so we’ll have a vaccine. Based on the short-lived immunity we acquire from other coronaviruses this will likely require annual boosters.
