I’m asking for a friend. What are your thoughts on an 84 year old attending his DS’ funeral on Monday?

Of course he should fo if he wants to. Has he got someone who can take him.

Yes he lives with my friend so she’ll take him.

What a terrible dilemma to have.

Men are more at risk than women. Does he have any underlying conditions that make him more at risk. Where is the funeral, it might be worth talking to the funeral directors about putting in place some protective measures. Or would just attending the service but not the wake help? Might be worth considering a memorial service in a years time when this is hopefully all over? I would think a lot of people won't attend anyway.

He is very frail and requires 24 hour care.
