Firstly, I recognise that this is very much a first world problem WRT the virus but it's something that's making me quite anxious so thought I would ask advice.
We are very close to exchanging on our dream house.
We own our current house and the mortgage is quite small. The house is far too small for us and we dont like the area.
The mortgage on our new house will be significantly larger but neither me or DP are in 'at risk' jobs so no real concerns about managing payments.
However, house prices are likely to drop? Is buying a house right now sensible?
Everything feels so uncertain but I dont want to pull out of buying this perfect house if I'm just panicking. Equally I dont want to bury my head in the sand and then end up in negative equity...

Who knows. If it’s your dream home and you’re serious about buying it, go for it, otherwise someone else will.
