Morning all,

I thought it might be helpful to have a (positive and helpful) resource thread for those of us working from home and/or self-isolating.

To start off I really like the free workouts at www.fitnessblender.com/

And I’ve heard good things about yogawithadriene.com/

Dh and I both wfh with 4 yo DS and no garden. Not ideal. Tips welcome!

MrsLangOnionsMcWeetabix · 17/03/2020 11:20

@HouseElfy someone mentioned www.cosmickids.com/ for kids yoga. I’m going to try that with DS.

If you can afford them I like Toucan boxes, there are usually discount codes available if you google www.toucanbox.com/

Thanks for starting this thread. I've nothing useful to add but will when I can. I know I'll be popping back to this in the coming weeks.

Thanks for starting the thread, I'm currently self-isolating.
If you like yoga try this too: www.doyogawithme.com/

Expensive but worth considering especially for self-isolators: one of the home delivery meal kits. We have a Hello Fresh delivery that covers three evening meals and I've been really glad of it recently, as it means I have to worry less about having food in for the whole week, particularly as the supermarkets are currently chaotic.

They can be set up on a one-off basis or to repeat and you usually get a decent discount on the first order.

They deliver wine as well Grin

www.sporcle.com - Keep the mind busy with general knowledge quizzes.

BBC iPlayer's "From the archive" category. Hours of enjoyment.

Jetpunk quiz site

For those stuck with infant school aged kids at home:

www.letters-and-sounds.com/phase-2-resources.html
Has some great (free) phonics printables

www.phonicsbloom.com/uk/game/list/phonics-games-phase-2
Has some good phonics games

I’m going to ask for this to be moved to chat as I think a lot of folk are avoiding the CV topic

Good idea to get it moved OP.

Meanwhile may I recommend a book called "The Floor is Lava" - ideas for games around the house.

Cat Sporcle is so addictive isn't?!

Bump. It would be great if we could add some more stuff here.
I'd especially like to hear what hobbies and arty crafty things everyone is doing, with or without kids.
