Guilt over CV

We were meant to be going away for a couple of days with the in laws today & I’ve decided we shouldn’t go. My ds & fil both come under the at risk groups & I don't want to be responsible for my fil getting ill or dying & I don't want them responsible for my ds getting it.
Unfortunately pil are still going away because they can't get a refund. I'm now sat here in tears feeling guilty because what if this would've been the last opportunity for my dc & dh to see pil & I've kaiboshed it.
Please tell me I've made the right decision.

Why would it be the last opportunity to see them?

Sorry I realise what you mean now.

Guilt is misplaced. They are being ridiculous to place monetary value over their own lives. Please don't carry any guild here Thanks

Getting frequent "it's lovely here" "let us know if you change your mind" messages & I just want to go back to bed & cry. I'm just trying to keep ds safe
