Was shivering and had all blankets on. This morning still have temp and a sore throat.

Obvs self isolating is it 2 weeks?

I don't feel totally horrific as in I can still type on mn! Felt quite nauseous earlier, I often get that with temps.

Not sure why I'm positing. Just wanted to chat. Have brittle asthma although been v stable recently, still on lots of meds and regular steroids but much less hosp admissions.

Work in school so have informed them.

Two weeks. Bless you, hope you feel better soon xx

Spam88 · 17/03/2020 09:50

It is two week yes, also for anyone else in your household.

Hope you feel better soon OP, and do seek medical attention if you need it.

Hopefully whatever it is, clears up very quickly for you, all this overthinking is horrible, is it, isn't it? No one knows what illness they are dealing with, I'm sure you would feel a lot better if you knew it wasn't corona.

Snap and also a fellow worker in a school. I felt absolutely fine and then awoke this morning at 1 with my bedsheets absolutely sodden and even with the windows wide open all night I’ve had to change the sheets twice again and I’m exhausted. I don’t have a cough but breathing is definitely more difficult.
Hope you make a quick recovery

Pollyputthepizzaon · 17/03/2020 09:53

2 weeks for EVERYONE in your household I’m afraid. Hope you feel better.

JigsawsAreCool · 17/03/2020 17:55

People.have sent me stuff saying 7 days from symptoms starting if live alone?

Not arguing I'll happily do 14 days but government stuff def said 7 for an individual.

Such confusing and conflicting info.

7 days for a lone household, 14 days for everyone if you live with others.

BertandQueenieforever · 17/03/2020 18:08

Yes definitely 7 days from onset of symptoms. 14 days for everyone else in your household if they are currently symptom free.

Yes sorry OP, I was wrong earlier (or misled by Boris' clear as muck announcement yesterday) but the nhs website is pretty clear now it's been updated - 7 days from onset of symptoms and 14 days for anyone else in the household.
