Exercise when self-isolating

I just wanted to recommend Leslie Sansone's Walk At Home. It's very simple, lots of workouts on you tube, you can do it at your own level , and is surprisingly effective if you do the more intense workouts. You do need some space but not masses - you could do it in most living rooms if you pushed back coffee tables etc.

I came across it when I was losing weight a few years ago. There are lots of online exercise programmes but something about the simplicity of this one really worked for me. Some people find her annoying but I quite like her breezy enthusiasm.

Once you get the hang of it, you can have the workout on your phone and be watching TV at the same time, which makes longer workouts less boring.

Just posting as I wait to find out if I'm confined to the house from Monday ...

This is a nice idea.

Yoga with Adriene on YouTube is brilliant.

Thanks so much.

I've been doing 45 mins of Zumba/day yesterday and today. Will definitely look up yours.

Please, people, if you have more suggestions, keep them coming.

It's hard(er) to workout at home but not impossible. I'm getting married this year and need to lose AT LEAST 5 kg if not 6-7.

Brilliant really helpful. If anyone has anymore to recommendations please.

The Body Coach has his workouts on Alexa.

Hasfit really good if you need some weights workouts. They go from quite basic to some killer workouts and are done by a couple, who are both lovely,

Body Coach HIIT stuff also good but you need to know what you're doing or possibly risk of injury (he also doesn't do warm ups!)

Les Mills also do proper classes streamed online and I think you can get a 14 day free trial.

I, on the other hand, will be experimenting with an indoors version of

, for its sheer lunacy genius and entertainment value. (and a much-needed laugh in tough times).

I've just walked a mile in my living room with her! The kids are doing Go Noodle and Cosmic Yoga.
