Non essential hospital classes - would you go?

Name changed as this is very outing as ive spoken to my boss already.

I teach functional skills at hospitals (to staff). The classes are non-essential considering the circumstances although the class have exams in 5 weeks (assuming the college is open in 5 weeks). I am supposed to teach the class on Thursday. Last night I saw there has been a death from Covid-19 at the hospital I should be visiting. I messaged my boss and said I don't want to go. My youngest has asthma and is just getting over a (different) virus.
My boss is being supportive and says she will speak to her boss but I wondered if others would still go? I am overreacting to say I don't want to go to a hospital unnecessarily, taking the risk to myself and taking staff from their posts?
The staff are all types of staff, heath care workers, admin, cooking staff etc.
