I contacted my work to ask for updates while I'm on annual leave.Although our company had said it could withstand a crisis this new development is much more serious. One younger guy said it would all blow over and not to worry!.
I had this opinion a month ago but now we know more.and looking to Italy
DH has underlying health condition.
My boss has said he will update this morning and only over 70s need to self isolate for 3 months.
Several of.us have.flu jabs at work and I understand this is people in the higher risk group.
I feel misunderstood.like I'm panicking...I'm not as I do have life savings but I am on zero hours I just want to know what is going on.
Anyone else in uncertain circumstances working in restaurants and pubs?
I think I am slowed to ask what is happening with mothers day on the horizon one of our previously busiest days of the year.

My DS and his girlfriend both work in hospitality for the same hotel. She’s had hours cut to one day a week already. It’s an anxious time for both re rent etc. Hotels and cafes near us are offering their full menus with home delivery so they can keep some staff on.
