Unfortunately, I suspect there is a limited supply of the equipment. Yes I’m an ideal world everything needed would be available, unfortunately it isn’t.
Wanting what is ideal, but not there is not going to make things magically appear. It’s about as useful as WHO’s only advice being “test test test” when there clearly isn’t enough tests or testing capacity at the moment. (Mind you WHO base their whole existence on wishful thinking)
As Macron says, we are at war. Every war ever fought suffers from equipment shortages. I am sure everyone involved is trying their best, and making v difficult decisions.
Unfortunately this is going to get much much worse before it gets better. Isolation will not get rid of the disease only slow it to allow the health authorities across the world to try and cope.
People need to get their heads around the fact life is different now. We can’t solve this through outrage, equipment will not magically appear, all we can do is try snd preserve the resources we have.
