Anyone else work in a special school?

And if so, is your school open? I work in a special school and we're open as normal, except that we authorise absence for any student who is vulnerable for health reasons. BUT, I've just seen on the new government list of conditions that qualify you for being at 'increased risk' that it lists 'a learning disability'. Thinking of emailing the headteacher tomorrow! The site I work at is MLD, but the other site is PMLD.

Severe and complex here
We sent 2 children home for high temps today, parents were going mad wanting them to come back tomorrow. Our parents don’t heed the 48h D&V rule either. I know it’s for respite but they should think of other vulnerable children we have.
We have 2 teachers self-isolating so are doubling up classes tomorrow

Yes our parents range from extremely anxious about everything, to frankly neglectful. We also sent a teacher home today. Everyone was edgy. I think it's the not knowing (about the future) which is stressful.
