High bmi risk

Hi, my bmi is 33, I know they say over 40 is high risk... but would I be higher risk too? I’ve been starting to try to lose weight but only lost a couple of pounds so far (started about 2 weeks ago). I’m very worried about if I died from this. And then I’d just be classed as underlying conditions because I’m so fat...

It’s over 40. I wouldn’t worry too much.

Hi OP, I don't think you're classified as high risk, as you say the advice is those with bmi >40, which mine is. I am very angry with myself for being in this position. Have lost weight (to out of the at risk group) in recent years, but put it back on. My parents are in their 80s and relying on me. I feel well and want to be able to help those in trouble, but advice is I need to stay isolated as much as possible. I plan 800 calories per day from now to try to get back into the standard risk group. You can join me if you like Grin? I could do with a buddy.
