Hospital appointment

I've got a hospital appointment on Wednesday, it's an investigative ultrasound for womb/ovary pain - so non essential - should I cancel? I don't want to waste resources or be using the hospital when there's far more serious things going on.

I would go. I don't think you are wasting resources. It would be more wasteful not to go tbh. The department will be staffed and those gaff won't move to do something else because you cancel an appointment.

Go to your appointment. My DH had an outpatient appointment today, the hospital was carrying on as normal.

Thanks, just wanted to check I wouldn't be wasting nhs time on a non-emergency!

I had a hosp appt on Sunday (I know, Sunday!) And it was fine, they temp checked everyone in the waiting room, it was clean, quick, calm, fine.

It's be different if you were seeing a consultant virologist, but seeing a sonographer, I don't think they'd be easily reutilised in a CV ward.
