Guidance for children with asthma

If anyone has seen any guidance for children with asthma please could they flag it up.

There are plenty of children with asthma on preventer inhalers that would probably fall under the definition of "vulnerable" if they were an adult.

I would like clarification on this too although I had already decided to remove him from secondary school when he is due back on Wednesday.

Me too. I’ve seen the social distancing guidance www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults but it doesn’t specifically mention children. My DS is 11 and has recently had a course of steroids for chest infection induced asthma so I’m keeping him off until I can get proper guidance.

I just started a thread on this. The topic is moving so fast that I didn’t see this. I didn’t understand from the press conference, what the answer to this was. The bald bloke seemed to not include children in the group, as he said it spared children. But the guidance online includes people of any age, but who would get called for a flu jab as an adult. It’s not clear whether school is included in social distancing or not.

I can't find confirmation on this either. It did appear in the press conference that they were making reference specifically to adults with chronic health conditions.
