Or would that not be wise ?

Is this a real situation for you?

Wildthyme · 16/03/2020 20:35

Yabu for having a hot tub.

BlueMoon1103 · 16/03/2020 20:36

I think you can do what you want in your personal garden...

Lardlizard · 16/03/2020 20:36

Yes

olympicsrock · 16/03/2020 20:36

Yes they can

Lardlizard · 16/03/2020 20:36

I mean infection wise

SoleBizzz · 16/03/2020 20:37

Why? @Wild

Get the self isolating person to bring you drinks and nibbles, perform light massage and towel dry you.

Lardlizard · 16/03/2020 20:37

I’m guessing it’s not wise for the poorly one to go in, but for the others that are not poorly but now have to stay at home for 2 weeks

Lardlizard · 16/03/2020 20:38

We are all self isolating now, the whole family for 2 weeks

😅😅

Palavah · 16/03/2020 20:40

this is a bit hilarious.

Why wouldn't the non-infected members be able to use the hot tub, apart from hot tubs being germ soup?

Clavinova · 16/03/2020 20:40

Might help;

"Can the COVID-19 virus spread through pools and hot tubs?"

"There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs.Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19."

Is this serious? You can do what you want in your own house.

souldivachakkakahn · 16/03/2020 20:41

That would make my self isolating experience sooooo much nicer. Not that I'm SI yet. But when I do, I want a hot tub!

Absentwomen · 16/03/2020 20:47

@user1471439240

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

RuffleCrow · 16/03/2020 20:50

We'll all be suffering from Rickets rather than coronavirus if we don't even got into our own gardens! Poor souls living in upper floor flats though :-(

Herpesfreesince03 · 16/03/2020 20:59

When I’ve done deciding on whether to visit my 90 year old father one last time before he dies (and potentially passing a horrible disease on to him), whether to immediately have a will written in regards to my own potential death, and whether I have to start rationing my children’s food and medication in case of shortages, I’ll get back to you on your hot tub dilemma

Lardlizard · 16/03/2020 21:05

Clavinova
Thanks that just the info I was after, well I though say I’m carrying it but say my dd isn’t, I don’t want to pass it to her I’m very particular about the chlorine levels etc and although that article says the chlorine will
Kill the virus, I perhaps will not let the poorly one in, just incase, at least till there’s an improvement

Lardlizard · 16/03/2020 21:06

Herpes, I’m sorry for your situation this virus is a truely awful thing, I also have loved ones that are very vulnerable with cancer etc but I’m still going to have to think of ways how we can manage being isolated at home for a fortnight without going nuts

Wishing you the best
