Age - low risk
Woman - low risk
High blood pressure - one of the underlying health conditions that’s always listed

How are you handling it? Are you isolating yourself? Are we included in the list that has to stay in for 12 weeks?

Iam. But I'm also in the other categories (70 years old, always offered the flu jab, have respiratory isdurs). No brainer for me

I'm 53 with high BP that's controlled with medication. Not sure where that puts me

Dreamersandwishers · 16/03/2020 20:33

50s, high blood pressure, controlled with drugs; asthmatic; post-chemo. I am not isolating as such but have cut social contact, restaurants, group meetings etc. Will limit myself to dog walks and food shopping.
It sucks

Early 40's, high BP (controlledwith medication) , get flu jab and also have M.E and fibromyalgia. I'll be limiting my outings, but as a recovering agoraphobe I'm always worried not going out for long periods will lead to a relapse

Gov list is here www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults. High blood pressure isn’t on it but is always on the list of underlying conditions in cases where the virus is fatal. So confusing
