Just a thought, but has anyone considered that the Government decision to keep schools open is to use our children as guinea pigs to help establish this so-called herd immunity amongst the population. The Government scientists, who I appreciate are extremely committed to helping contain the virus, have admitted they need to establish a degree of immunity to help fight the problem longterm. They have identified that our children are, largely, at lower risk of becoming seriously ill so are comfortable with letting them contract the virus. That’s arguably fine if you have a child with no underlying health issues, but are you happy to sit back and let it happen. Public health officials admit they do the same with the seasonal flu vaccine, inoculating our children not necessarily because they are at risk, but to protect the wider Communuty. What if this experiment goes wrong. Before you accept that the decision to keep schools open is for practical reasons, just ask yourself if you are certain this is true. Our precious children are a very captive audience. Are we sure we know what we are letting ourselves in for?
