My DD has had a a blocked and runny nose since last night, today she is very snotty. She seems totally fine in every other way, although not eating as much as usual but still eating. She doesnt have any other symptoms and shes happy enough and still seems to have her energy. She will be 2 next month.
I have had a bit of a cloudy head for the last 2 days also but otherwise feel fine.

Usually I dont worry about things like this, but obviously I dont want to pass anything onto someone who is vulnerable.
The symptoms we have are not common with coronavirus apparently but I've heard some people say that everyone is different and some people experienced different symptoms.
I dont believe we have coronavirus, but I'm unsure if I have to self isolate as DDs immune system is maybe a bit low at the moment, hence the snotty nose, or will people think bad of me if we dont self isolate? I dont plan on taking DD out now until the snotty nose is away, but I have work so do i still go? I'm so confused with all this information and I just dont know what to do, but I do need money obviously as I'm a single parent. I work in hospitality.

You do NOT need to self-isolate in the circumstances you describe. Carry on as normal.

@BMW6 thank you. I was having a chat with a few others in a group chat, and I mentioned that my DD was bunged up a bit and I was told that I should isolate incase. I dont want to sound selfish, or insulting but I didnt think I should have to. But then I am also not that worried about the virus myself. I just dont want to have people make me feel like shit for something I didnt think was necessary. The people in the chat, mostly, are panicking.
