Just got let go from work

The business started tanking last week and I was let go an hour ago (3 weeks into my probation!) so now what?

It’s going to be impossible to land a job now.

I think I am in shock.

Oh Gotham, I’m so sorry, I don’t know what else to say really other than you can only do so much, these are situations so far out of our hands and comfort zones. I hope you have some RL support.

I was talking about this with my DH today - we think he will be let go this week and as my job depends on the pub industry, I will probably be unemployed too. We said that the supermarkets seem to be short staffed, so short term, we may apply to one if them
