Should I fly?

A relative has died. I live in the South and the relative and the rest of my family are in Scotland. I would like to go up with my toddler to be there and support my family and go to the funeral. I would be flying from Gatwick.

What would you do?

I would go if there was a flight

I would go.

I would go, so long as I was prepared for possibly having to stay up there for a while.

Will you be able to get bsck, and does it matter if you are stuck there for a while?

sharonmarron · 16/03/2020 15:46

It will be fine if I'm stuck there. That's unlikely for another 4-6 weeks anyway. I was more thinking about my social responsibility not to spread infection through unnecessary contact with others. Especially with a toddler who likes to climb on things, crawl on the floor etc. Perfect hygiene is almost impossible.

Unless you are ill I would think that there is no real harm in travelling given the virus is in both parts of the country.
