Is anyone keeping kids off/self isolating with no symptoms if they NEED their work income

My Facebook is full of people telling me to self isolate #staythefuckathome. Several of my daughters friends are not going to school because their parents don’t want them to. None of them or their parents are showing symptoms. All of those I know are retired/not working (well DH is but clearly the self isolation doesn’t go that far).

Now by all means do as you please, whatever you think is best but FFS why do they feel the need to bang on about it, making others feel bad for doing what they have to do.

If I don’t go to work I don’t get paid, I can’t pay my bills. My work is still open. Schools are still open. If my DD can’t go to nursery because it closes then I still have to pay them. Whatever happens I am going to come out of this in shit loads of debt and Perhaps without a job if I have to take a month of unpaid or self isolate.

I would love to lock myself and kids in our house for a month but I can’t and just because you’re priviledged enough to be able to please don’t make me feel guilty for not!
