Ventilation on the bus

Surely keeping the windows on the bus open during an outbreak is wiser than shut, especially when the woman behind you is coughing her guts up? AIBU to think that this is common sense?

YANBU! Are you on the same bus as me?!

YANBU! OH gets the bus to work and the drivers have told everyone they are banned from shutting windows even if it means the bus is freezing.

All the droplets in the air from her coughing, aren't going to fly straight out the window.

@OhLook bus was busy but you have a point. Considering walking at least one way, I’m fortunate enough to work at a walkable distance of push comes to shove

@LesLavandes I’ve felt exactly the same way even before. Not just for germs but smells! How it doesn’t bother more people is beyond me
