New York decided to close t's school last night- the reasons against doing so were more or less the reasons I've seen on here (who will provide child care for key workers) rather than the spurious 'herd immunity' defense (which is 1. Unproven and 2. likely to overwhelm the NHS). Here'a a NY times article about the decision and how they are getting around child care issues:
