In Northern Ireland. No symptoms. Have a 80year old nanny just out of hospital with pneumonia she also has COPD. I have to help her shower tomorrow. Would you go to gym class tomorrow or is that silly?!

I’ve stopped going.

No gyms are disgusting hot bed of germs at best of times.

Youngatheart00 · 16/03/2020 07:29

Sadly not. Enclosed environment, lots of equipment people have touched and sweated on. Unless they were literally fumigated every night (which they’re not!) a wipe of sanitiser isn’t enough.

Isadora2007 · 16/03/2020 07:30

I would, yes.

BackInTime · 16/03/2020 07:32

No, go for a run or walk instead.

I read an article which said that gyms are the worst place to spread this. And contributed to what happened in Wuhan.

I did, although not in NI and no at risk relatives. It was manic, much busier than normal. I wiped everything before and after and others seemed to be doing the same.
