Lock down equals world economic breakdown

Does anyone actually understand the economic implications of a country being locked down? It will lead to millions of deaths. A lock down will destroy our economy. It won't be a few months of adjustment. It will f*&ING destroy it. Mass unemployment and deaths due to extreme poverty. This is not a health thread it is an economic thread. In Italy they are locked down but they are still going to work. So yes their economy will be affected, but they are still working.

Common sense dictates that healthy people with no symptoms and no underlying health conditions should not be locked away, regardless of their age. All people with underlying health problems and/or cv symptoms should self isolate regardless of their age.
