I need convincing or some shit to call in tomorrow to work... I feel guilty cause I suspect itโ€™ll be chaotic ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜–

The boyfriends been told to isolate himself, spoke to 111. Spoke to work who said to speak to occupational health who said he needs to be off a week. They said I was fine to go in as normal providing thereโ€™s no symptoms from me. Anywho, started with a cough today with a borderline temperature (37.5), my chest has felt achey for a couple of days.

Someone please just tell me to get over myself & actually call in tomorrow...?!

You have to call in. Donโ€™t be hesitant - itโ€™s not an option to go to work with those symptoms, especially as you will be around vulnerable people.

Butterwhy · 15/03/2020 20:13

Call in. It will be a lot more chaotic if you make others poorly and then take time off anyway. Look after yourself and going back will roll around before you know it.

My sickness record isnโ€™t great. But it doesnโ€™t even go on your sick record. Iโ€™m probably being a giant wuss ๐Ÿ™Š

Please move to new topic?

Ask for a test. They are testing people who have chest pains.

TotesGodsWill · 15/03/2020 20:15

FFS follow the guidelines and call in sick and self isolate for at least the next 7 days!

FredaFrogspawn · 15/03/2020 20:16

Hopefully youโ€™ll be back at work when lots of your colleagues are going down with the virus. So donโ€™t feel guilty. Most hospitals are still doing elective surgery tomorrow so things arenโ€™t that chaotic yet.

Bubblemonkey · 15/03/2020 20:20

I thought that on Friday, Freda, we were till they decided to cancel elective cases half way through the day

Still happening in some hospitals.

Anyway - stay at home and look after yourself. We will be needing you when youโ€™re better. Flowers
